From January 31 to February 2, 2025, SUNEL Arena proudly hosted the Athens Challenge European Cup & Open Cup 2025, one of Europe’s most prestigious martial arts competitions. The event brought together athletes from 26 countries, with an impressive 2,800 athlete registrations and a total attendance of approximately 3,000 spectators, coaches, and officials.
The arena was transformed into a premier competition venue, featuring tatami mats for martial arts and kickboxing rings to accommodate multiple disciplines. Athletes of all ages and skill levels competed in an event that highlighted discipline, skill, and sportsmanship while fostering international collaboration and athletic excellence.
As part of the event, representatives from SUNEL Group took part in the awards ceremony, delivering some of the awards to distinguished athletes. Representing SUNEL Group and SUNEL Arena were:
