On May 15, 2025, SUNEL Arena hosted Game 2 of the Greek Basket League semifinals, where AEK Betsson BC faced Olympiacos BC. Despite a strong start, AEK trailed 19–27 after the first quarter and 39–42 at halftime. However, Olympiacos extended their lead in the second half, culminating in a 64–90 victory.  Sasha Vezenkov led Olympiacos with 18 points, while Alec Peters added 16. For AEK, Hunter Hale stood out with 14 points.
