AEK Betsson BC took a significant step toward the Basketball Champions League Final Four with a 76–69 victory over Nanterre 92 in Game 1 of the quarterfinals at SUNEL Arena. In front of a passionate crowd of 8,291 fans, the Greek side maintained their unbeaten home record in European competition this season.

Hunter Hale led AEK’s offense, scoring 20 points, including 16 in the first half, and making four three-pointers. Prentiss Hubb contributed 15 points, four rebounds, and four steals, while CJ Bryce added 13 points, with a crucial three-pointer in the final minute.

Nanterre 92 displayed resilience, leading into the fourth quarter. Roko Prkačin had 16 points and six rebounds, and Paul Lacombe added 11 points and eight assists. However, AEK’s late-game execution secured the win.

This victory gives AEK a 1–0 lead in the best-of-three series. The next game is scheduled for April 16, 2025, in Nanterre, where AEK will aim to clinch the series and advance to the Final Four.
