AEK continued its strong start in the Stoiximan Basket League, claiming an emphatic victory over Panionios at the SUNEL Arena to go 2–0 in the championship.
Despite the game being played behind closed doors due to disciplinary measures, AEK delivered a powerful performance on both ends of the court. Chris Silva was outstanding, finishing with 24 points without missing a shot (8/8 two-pointers, 8/9 free throws) and adding nine rebounds. Frank Bartley also impressed, scoring all 15 of his points in the first 13 minutes, setting the tone early for the home team.
AEK took full control in the second half, and particularly in the third quarter, when a dominant 25–11 run put the game beyond reach.
It was another convincing showing from AEK, highlighting the team’s depth, energy, and determination early in the season.
