
In front of many enthusiastic fans at SUNEL Arena, AEK confirmed its excellent form by defeating Karditsa 77–62, achieving its third consecutive victory in the Stoiximan Basket League.
After a balanced first quarter (14–15), AEK quickly found its rhythm and took full control of the game. The team’s strong defense and efficient offense turned the momentum decisively in favor of the home side, as the “yellow-blacks” went into halftime leading 37–22.
Frank Bartley led AEK’s offense with 19 points and 4 assists, while RaiQuan Gray added 12 points and Chris Silva contributed 10 with perfect shooting (4/4). Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Vassilis Charalampopoulos were also key contributors, combining for crucial three-pointers that fueled AEK’s early run.
In the second half, Stefanos Dedas’ players kept up the same energy and intensity, extending their lead beyond 20 points (46–22 at 22’). Karditsa, despite solid efforts from Damien Jefferson (16 points) and Di’Maggio Wiggins (11 points, 8 rebounds), couldn’t keep pace with AEK’s dominance on both ends of the floor.
The game ended 77–62, sealing another strong home win for AEK at SUNEL Arena — where fans once again created an electric atmosphere, supporting the team throughout the evening.
