8th Greek National Cheerleading Tournament at SUNEL Arena

From June 21 to June 23, 2024, SUNEL Arena proudly hosted the 8th Greek National Cheerleading Tournament, bringing together over 1,100 athletes from 26 clubs across Greece. This spectacular event showcased the very best in Greek cheerleading, as teams competed for the title of 2024 National Champions.

The tournament featured dazzling performances that combined athleticism, creativity, and precision. Athletes impressed the audience with their synchronized routines, high-flying stunts, and intricate choreography. The energy and passion on display highlighted the unique values of cheerleading – trust, dedication, and teamwork.

With more than 3,000 enthusiastic spectators in attendance, SUNEL Arena was filled with excitement and support, creating a vibrant atmosphere that celebrated the spirit of the sport.

Among the standout teams, Hellenic Star from Thessaloniki claimed the spotlight, winning a remarkable 9 gold, 7 silver, and 4 bronze medals across team and duo events. Following closely were the Amazones, also earning 9 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze medals. The Aposperides secured third place with 3 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals.

The event was graced by several prominent figures, including:

  • Grigoris Konstantellos, Mayor of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni
