On Saturday, April 18, the SUNEL Arena became the beating heart of global kickboxing.

The legendary K-1 World Max made its official debut in Greece — and the result was nothing short of explosive.

From the very first fight, the energy was electric. High-level matchups, raw intensity, and nonstop adrenaline turned the arena into a true battleground. Fans witnessed world-class kickboxing at its finest, in an atmosphere that delivered on every promise.

With the support of Spartan’s Night 6 and BG Kickboxing Academy, this historic night proved that Greece is ready to host events of global magnitude.

Often referred to as the “Mecca” of kickboxing, K-1 has hosted legends like Ernesto Hoost, Peter Aerts, Semmy Schilt, Masato, Buakaw Banchamek, Andy Souwer, Artur Kyshenko and Greece’s own Michalis Zambidis — and on this night, that legacy continued right here in Athens.

A sold-out arena.
An unforgettable experience.
A new chapter for combat sports in Greece.
