More than 5,000 fans filled SUNEL Arena for an unforgettable night of international basketball, as the Greek National Team faced Montenegro in the 3rd round of the European Qualifiers for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027.

Although Greece narrowly fell 67–65 to Montenegro, the atmosphere inside the arena was nothing short of exceptional. Families, children, and passionate supporters created a vibrant and emotional setting, turning the game into a true celebration of the sport.

From the first tip-off to the final buzzer, the crowd stood behind the National Team, transforming SUNEL Arena into a sea of blue and white. The energy, enthusiasm, and unity in the stands reflected the deep connection between Greek basketball and its supporters.
