From February 3 to February 4, 2024, SUNEL Arena hosted an unforgettable showdown as Team Greece made its triumphant return to the Davis Cup World Group I, securing a decisive 4-0 victory over Romania. The competition began with two victories for Greece. Stefanos Tsitsipas, the nation’s top-ranked player, delivered a commanding performance to secure the first win. He was followed by Aristotelis Thanos, who clinched a hard-fought victory to give Greece a 2-0 lead heading into Day 2.
